Becoming a Close to my Heart Consultant was one of the best decisions I ever made! I would love for you to join my team, but before you do, I am sure you have lots of questions. Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions about signing up with Close to my Heart, plus a little about me!

So, whether you are a Mum and want to earn an income around the kids lives so you won't feel guilty about not being there when they need you...... or maybe your children are grown and you want to earn a bit around that lifestyle you want - to travel and have the money to do so and not worry, .............. or maybe you want that income but under your own rules, your own time, your own way so you can feel in control of your life, ......... or you want to help make a difference in others lives that gives you a satisfaction not found in other ways ...........or maybe you would like to get great discounts on product EVERY time you order.......... or a combination of these. It may be that this is for you and it is your time.
This is a great way to get product for yourself and your friends cheaper. Let's face it, you will be paying some of this to get started anyway - might as well get it all! Earn great product for free, or, like myself earn an income! Run your business how YOU want it to run and be as flexible as YOU want to be. I love the fact it can fit in around the rest of my life, I don't have to be committed 5-7 days a week every day so I can love what I am doing - you can too! I would LOVE to have YOU on my TEAM. At the end of the points below is a video to show you why you may want to "switch" if you are with another company - Close to My Heart is tempting many people.
It’s easy to join. Start by clicking on which will lead you to my web page where you can read important information and check out the kit. After reading click "Let's get started" at the bottom of the page. Put in your information and your kit will be sent to your door.
So, what after this...... well, Close to my Heart are known as an Educational Company. We have stacks of training videos, events and of course, me!! You will have regular contact (particularly when you start) with me to help guide you through ways to make this business your own!
If you’d like to know why you should sign up to become a CTMH Consultant, hopefully these frequently asked questions will help.
- How much does the New Consultant Kit cost? The New Consultant Kit is $145 (plus tax and shipping) and is valued at over $350, plus you get a $80 Select Product Credit to apply towards your first order.
- What comes in the New Consultant Kit? You get a ton of great products and business items in the kit to help you get started right away. You can see exactly what is in the kit here.
- Is there an opportunity for new Consultants to earn free products? Absolutely! With the “Straight to the Top” program and a little extra incentive from me, you can earn tons of free products! There are three levels of the Straight to the Top program and you earn free goodies at each level. Want to know more - ask me!
- What’s the catch? Other than getting a ton of wonderful products at a great deal and most likely getting addicted to them, there is no catch. You have the opportunity to build a business if you choose, but you don’t have to.
- What if I don’t want to build a business and I just want to get the discount for myself on future orders? That’s great! Many Consultants are Hobbyists or Personal Use Consultants and do not do parties or hold classes or workshops. You are welcome to simply enjoy the discount on your own orders.
- What is the discount? Active Consultants enjoy a discount of 22%-35% depending on their sales for the month in addition to earning between $40 and $265 in FREE product each month. To see here. You automatically take on the hostess rewards if there is no hostess. Senior Directors and above also earn an additional 5% - 15% of personal override commission ON TOP of the regular commission and free product credit! Your earning potential is unlimited!
- What are the sales requirements? The sales requirement is $600 retail (before your discount) per calendar quarter to stay an active Consultant.
- What if I don’t place $600 in a quarter or place any orders at all? Once you sign up, you have a full quarter to make your sales minimum which means that if you sign up today, you have until the end of June 2017 to enjoy the full discount if you choose. Then if you do not have a total of $600 in orders from April - June, you simply drop and are no longer a Consultant.
- How long will I be a Consultant if I order the kit and then do nothing? If you sign up today, you will be active until June 30, 2017. Then on July 1st, 2017 you will no longer be considered a Consultant. But with all of the fabulous new products that will be coming out in the next Annual Inspiration catalogue, you will probably be VERY excited that you are a Consultant and are able to order the new products at a discount. So chances are you will not drop! PS You get to order one month in advance too.
- Do I need to give the Kit back if I drop? Nope. Everything is yours to keep! No strings attached.
- Are you required to maintain an inventory? Nope. There are so many different products that CTMH actually suggests that you do not maintain an inventory. You can place an order for 1 item or 1000 items, so there is really no need to keep an inventory.
- Does the company offer Hostess gifts? If so, who pays for them? Yes! CTMH pays for the hostess rewards. And as a Consultant, you are welcome to be your own Hostess and earn more free goodies!
- Does CTMH offer any training or events? Ummm....a great big YES! There are so many different training options available including lots of great videos and webinars. There is an entire listening library of recorded conference calls, video training sessions, bulletin boards for artwork, business, templates, Mentoring, and more. They have pre-designed projects and workshops for us to use. There are annual events such as Local “Seasonal Expressions Launch” Events, and Convention. We have a Head Office for Australasia and I have found them VERY helpful! I am available for a quick chat - facebook is easy! Plus at times, I have training events. And there is a ton more! You will never be without help.
- How much is it to have a website? All Consultants now have FREE websites, so your friends and customers can place orders online, 24 hours a day!
- Can Consultants send out newsletters? You bet! CTMH also provides all Consultants with free, professionally designed monthly newsletters, making it easier than ever to communicate with your customers.
- Can you tell me a little more about you and your team? Absolutely! I live in the Wairarapa with my husband Ian. We have been married for over 30 years.... 30 years... unbelievable!! He is a builder and we have three grown children. We also have two grandies - still very young. My husband, Ian came to me recently with a "dream". He would like to get a 5th wheeler and then we can take our grandies away. I am VERY excited about this dream!! It WILL happen! I used to work in a private Girls College helping special needs kids! I do still have a small job with an educational company which encourages young kids in learning! I also run a bnb and utilize our home for craft Reteats (not just papercraft). I have always dabbled in craft - quilting, mosaics, plate painting, loved learning to draw and paint, amongst other things. I also had such a desire to encourage women especially in business that CTMH was a perfect fit for me. I joined in 2013, though I had been with another company (Creative Memories) prior to this for nine years. I started with a group of people who all wanted to do the same as me - get our albums done. You would have called me a hobbyist. But, people started to want to come and now it has grown. I have regularly 10 people in my home once a month plus other events. I also hold retreats (a real favourite of my ladies) catering for "Boutique style" and "Wallet Friendly" style. I am a Senior Supervisor and currently have three downlines in the Wairarapa and Wellington areas. These ladies are lovely and all operate in different ways and for different reasons. Take note, you do not have to live in the same area as me to be part of the team!! Yup, you could live at the other end of the island or even South Island and still be part of it!! 17. How do you sign up? You can sign up at my website here. It will take you less than 5 minutes and your New Consultant Kit will be sent out to you right away.
18. How long will it take to receive my kit? You will get a tracking number so you will know exactly how far away it is and often arrives in about a week. CTMH say between 5 - 14 days.

be amongst and I feel quite buzzy after being around many, many of these folk! This is open to
you too.
4. By selling four Workshop On The Go Kits plus you buying one yourself you will maintain
your position as an Independent Consultant no sweat! Of course, people will want to buy
more, as you know if you have ever bought anything from Close to My Heart, this is a great
product and you don't have to be a great sales person - just by presenting the product it sells
itself! But, if you want a better income there is plenty of training to help you reach your goals.
5. I want YOU to succeed and you will be able to attend some of my workshops for FREE. I
will hold regular contact with you - you won't be alone and I have been doing this via another
company for a while - I know what it is like. You don't even need to be local - you can be
anywhere in NZ and I can help you. If either of us truly don't know what to do - I have access to
go even higher and receive help.
6. When ordering YOU can earn the Hostess Rewards yourself. Fantastic to build up your own
stock or on-sell and make even more of an income.
