1.  Stamping Basics Collection ($118.00 Z9980)  Saving of $5
 
Do you want to start but "where do I begin" is ringing in your ears?   When you get started stamping what you need are some basic DARK colours.  This is because you can always go lighter (by a second stamp which is called second generation) than trying to make an image darker.  Below are the colours you need.  Plus the cleaner and scrubber, a couple of stamps and a small organiser to store everything.  As you get more you will find this size fantastic for your stamps.  Add a block and you are good to go.

Workshop - 29th March

Just wanted to show you a couple of photos... though, of course, there were more people there than I am showing I just wanted to prove that I am there by being in some of the photos!!!  Plus, for the first time we had three generations at the workshop with Ellery's first day where she made her own photo box plus did some stunning work in her new kraft album!

 

And to announce the winners of my first blog competition - the first is the card by Christine using Chantilly! 

The second is Hayley's Halloween for the double page layout using the new basics foundation papers.  Well done girls!

April Project - Base N Bling

This is the latest form of creativity from Close to My Heart.  These beautiful necklaces could be yours tailor made to your own design and feature your own personality.    

They come in Faux silver and gold and feature a square or circle pendant.  There is plenty of "bling" to choose from and you could even have a photo or other special embellishments inserted into the glass encasing.

This last one is not completed yet - keen to come and help me choose what will go in this?  Email me your interest.

March Project

At last,..... something different for you to create.  I have covered this journalling box with Ivy Lane paper.  This goes well with three of the Ivy Lane cards.  It will hold about 8-10 cards with envelopes and is a beautiful and practical way to store your hand-crafted cards.  I have cut out the word memories on the cricut with a shadow as it also holds 4x6 photos and I wanted to show that this is a beautiful way to store your photos that you are currently working on as a scrapbooker.

So, I am offering this as a workshop on the 29th March.  It is also available to buy as a kit with instructions included.  If you live out of town I can post this to you with a small postage charge.  Also, if you are a card maker you may like a different title:  consider your name or someone else's name if you would like to make this as a gorgeous gift, notes, cards - let me know what you would like included when you make your booking.

If you are purchasing any of the kits above without attending a workshop, you will need an ink pad of one of  Bamboo, Blush or Hollyhock (featured), glue and daubers (or sponges), foam and if making the cards, you also need a block.  The WOTG advises a cricut cut for the shapes, but it is easy enough to fussy cut around your pieces instead if you do not have this fantastic machine!!

COMPETITIONS - three

Check out this page every month - it may be an easy win for you.  This month I am offering two competitions.


Scrappers:
The first is for scrapbookers.  Submit a double page spread (your favourite that you have done this year).  It must be using either Close to My Heart or Creative Memories products (or a mix) that you have purchased from me.  You will win a pack of 10 papers to use in your work.  How do you enter? Either, send me a photo of your double page or, bring to either of the two workshops this month.  That is Wednesday, 19th or Saturday, 29th March.


Card Makers and Papercrafters:
The second is for the above.  Submit a card using either a Stamp of the Month or a birthday card using Close to My Heart products that you have purchased from me.  You too will win a pack of 10 papers to use in further projects.

The winners will be notified and pictures of their work will be shown on this blog and is limited to my own customers for both of the above competitions.
